If we truly ask ourselves - 'in this moment, what do I need?' our bodies will respond.
But be careful what you listen to.
They won't say things like - skip dinner and take me to the treadmill for an hour. That's our mind. They don't say - only eat carrots until 3pm. That's our mind. They don't say - you're fat, lose 10 pounds. That's our mind.
Our bodies don't talk numbers, time, caloric intake and most importantly they never talk down on us. That's our mind.
But they do whisper things like:
help me breathe
take me somewhere calmer
So when we ask - 'in this moment, what do I need?' Listen closely. The answer is a little bit deeper.
