Calm the Crazy

When our minds go extra crazy and we can't stop repeating negative thoughts over and over and over (and over). Don't bother with throwing a positive affirmation on top of the chaos. It probably won't work.

 

It usually means there is a feeling we are not feeling. 

 

There is something stuck in our body that needs be noticed and felt. Sometimes its anger, sometimes it tears, sometimes its just a feeling. 

 

Our minds know this and as usual are trying to keep us from the moment - or in this case the feeling. 

 

The best way to do this is to stop, breathe and locate what you are experiencing in your body. Stay with it, breathe it, and let it pass when its ready.

 

Then see what happens to your thoughts.
